I was recently gifted this amazing watch from Yakwood. I have actually been on the hunt for a wooden watch for the longest while and then these guys reach out to me! Thank you Universe, you never let me down!

So, I recently attended the It's A Vegan Ting Festival in London. And while I was there, I picked up this amazing Vegan Girl Gang T-Shirt. I had seen it when I looked up the line-up before I attended the event. So I was elated to find it there and it was the last one left!
As a vegan, one question that I keep on hearing is "But where do you get your protein?" Well this question does bug but I guess sometimes instead of getting annoyed, it's better to educate people. So, not only can vegans get a great amount of protein as well as other nutrients from a well balanced diet, but the world of health and wellness is booming along with veganism. Thus bringing about an influx of vegan proteins and food supplements. In the year and a half I have been vegan, I have tried and tested an array of vegan food supplements and proteins. Here are some of the best ones that I have found
I have been a long standing lover of ASOS and I was elated when I heard that earlier this year, they vowed to ban silk, cashmere, mohair and feathers from their site. It may not be as far as a lot of us vegans would like to see, with them still selling leather items, but it is definitely a step in the right direction. So I decided to have a look at their website to see what they had to offer.
Denim shorts, denim dresses, denim skirts, denim jackets, denim handbags, denim shoes and of course a trusty pair of jeans. I feel like denim is one fashion trend that the world will never get sick of and thankfully, neither will I. Just as well as this trend just seems to come around over and over again.
I was blessed enough to attend the Black British Bloggers Photography Workshop at the Impact Hub, Brixton, where we learnt about lighting techniques, angles, shooting flatlays, beauty and fashion as well as finding the perfect light on outdoor shoots. Before even entering the venue, I could tell it was going to be a great creative day. Walking through Brixton market and seeing all the creativity and vibrancy.
Summer is finally here with a vengeance and this time of year is my ultimate fave. It's a time where those pins and pits come out of hiding when the woolly hats and jumpers get put away and those gorgeous bikinis and summer dresses come out to play. Yayyyy! Partayyyy!
Did you know that around 50–100 million animals are used in experiments each year?! In this day in age, I ask myself why we are still undertaking such cruel and barbaric tests. We are now able to unlock our phone with our fingerprint, power cars solely on electricity and fly to the moon and back. But yet, despite all of that, we continue to cause pain and suffering to these beautiful, innocent beings!
I recently had the privilege to meet the creator behind the ethical jewellery brand My-Wishbone, Emma Riley. I had the opportunity to speak to her in detail about how the brand came about. The name was almost accidentally created as Emma sat and thought about how she wanted to change her life and inspire others to do the same.
So last week I went to the It's A Vegan Ting event and it was such a cool experience. It was like a party with loads of amazing food, drink, art, clothes, accessories and cosmetics. All of my favourite things, so I was 100% in my element!
Every fashionista knows that lipstick really finishes a look nicely. Most days I'll only wear my eyebrows and mascara. Then I add lipstick to the mix and feel fire! There are now a lot of vegan friendly lipsticks out there for us to choose from and I have started to build up quite the collection!
I had the opportunity to go to the Veg Fest in Bristol yesterday. It was the first time going to an all vegan event and it was so amazing. I love the fact that I didn't have to ask any of the vendors if it was vegan. Such a refreshing feeling.
Living in England in the Summer can reak havoc with natural hair. Especially when you not only decide to stop straightening it and transition back to your natural hair, but you take it upon yourself to go vegan at the same time.
I've always thought I was a conscious and responsible person. I never thought that my purchases could possibly affect the health of the planet or the lives of others, even more so since going vegan. But after Fashion Revolution Week, I started to take a deeper look at the impact of my actions and how buying into Fast Fashion affects the planet.
As some of you may know I have a love hate relationship with my skin and am constantly on the lookout for the best thing for my skin. Here are some of my favourite vegan skincare finds
Can a girl really ever have too many shoes? That is the question. Well, for a girl like me, the answer used to be a firm no. Shoes, as well as other accessories such as jewellery and handbags, make an outfit.
Although we are allegedly approaching Spring, this grey weather does not feel like it. So when it's grey outside, my thoughts are either wear something so bright to brighten it up. Or, I could just surrender and join the grey-team (see what I did there)
It is fair to say that I left my heart in Barcelona. There are so many beautiful places to see in Barcelona. I didn't quite get around to seeing them all, but here are some of the gorgeous places I did get to see.
Now, you may or may not know this about me, but I have always loved having my nails done. My favourite shape was the famous coffin/ballerina shape. But after a while of being vegan, I started to think about the impact of my monthly visits to the nail salon on the planet, my nails and the animals. Are these products tested on animals? Are they damaging my nails? Are they toxic and thus damaging to the environment?
When I go abroad I love to immerse myself in the culture of the place I am visiting and for me, food is one of the largest aspects of most cultures. Being vegan can sometimes be tough when you're abroad, but luckily this country is up to speed and knows that veganism is a growing movement. Check out some of these great places in Barcelona creating not only vegan but simply delicious dishes
